The multi-layer insulating lining creates a barrier between the cold glass of your window and the warmth of your room, reducing draughts and helping your heating work less hard — a difference you feel most in older British homes and during the coldest months.

Yes. THE ATELIERS blackout curtains are crafted with a triple-woven fabric specifically engineered to block 100% of light when properly fitted.
Unlike standard lined curtains, our blackout range eliminates light seepage at the edges when paired with the correct pole and fitting.

As a general guide, your curtains should be 2 to 2.5 times the width of your window for a full, luxurious drape. For length, we always recommend floor to ceiling for the most elegant result.

Most THE ATELIERS curtains can be machine washed on a gentle cycle at 30°C. We recommend rehanging them while still slightly damp to allow the fabric to fall back into its natural shape.
Velvet curtains should be dry cleaned only to preserve the pile and richness of the fabric.
