Honest answer: no curtain achieves total darkness — and we would rather tell you that than overpromise. What our triple-weave construction does achieve is blocking the vast majority of incoming light — enough to turn a bright summer morning into a restful, sleep-ready room.
For best results, choose a pole that extends 15cm beyond each side of the window and hang as close to the ceiling as possible.
Many customers tell us their bedroom has never been darker.
They do — and we want to be precise about how. Our multi-layer insulating lining acts as a barrier between the cold glass of your window and the warmth of your room, reducing draughts and heat loss.
They won't replace your heating, but they will help it work less hard — a difference you notice most in older properties and during the coldest months.

As a general guide, your curtains should be 2 to 2.5 times the width of your window for a full, luxurious drape. For length, we always recommend floor to ceiling — the most elegant result, and the best blackout and thermal performance.
