THE ATELIER was founded in Paris in 2010 by a small team of textile designers who believed that beautiful window dressings shouldn't be reserved for hotel suites and period townhouses. Every home deserves that same considered elegance.
Five years later, drawn by Britain's unparalleled appetite for refined interiors, we established our London atelier — and found our truest home. Today, THE ATELIER is a name trusted by interior designers, architects, and discerning homeowners across the UK and Europe.

Paris — The Beginning
Our founders open a small atelier in the 6th arrondissement, crafting made-to-measure curtains and drapes for Parisian clientèle. The philosophy is simple: exceptional fabrics, flawless finish, no compromise.
2015
London — A New Chapter
THE ATELIER opens its London showroom in Chelsea. The British interior market embraces the brand immediately. Our collection expands to include blackout, thermal, and silk collections tailored to London light and life.
2019
The Full Collection
We extend beyond curtains — introducing linen cushions, velvet tie-backs, decorative poles, and accessories. Everything designed to work together as a cohesive interior language.

Fabric First, Always
We source every fabric personally — from mills in Lyon, Como, and Belfast. No compromises on hand, weight, or colour fastness. If it doesn't meet our standard, it doesn't enter the collection.
Made to Measure as Standard
We do not believe in "close enough". Every curtain is cut and sewn to your exact dimensions — because a centimetre off is visible to the eye that cares. And our customers always care.

Our team will tell you when a fabric won't suit your room — even if it means you spend less. We would rather you trust us for thirty years than impress you for thirty seconds.
Sustainable Choices
