At THE ATELIERS, quality is not something we mention in passing — it is the reason we exist. We make three curtains, and we have spent fifteen years holding each one to a standard we set in our first atelier in Paris. Every fabric we source, every seam we sew, every order we dispatch is measured against it. That standard has never changed.

Our Standards

Six commitments,

European Fabric Sourcing

Every fabric — blackout, thermal and acoustic — is sourced from trusted European mills and selected by hand for weight, drape, colour fastness and longevity. If it doesn't meet our standard, it doesn't enter the collection.

A Specialist's Eye

We make three curtains — blackout, thermal, noise reducing — and nothing else. Fifteen years on three products means we know exactly where quality is won or lost: the density of the weave, the layers of the lining, the weight of the acoustic fabric.

Pre-Dispatch Inspection

Before any curtain is dispatched, it is measured and inspected against your order. If something is not right, it does not leave. Simple as that.

Colourfast Guarantee

All fabrics are tested to BS EN ISO 105 standards for colourfastness to light and washing. We only stock what we are confident will look as beautiful in ten years as it does on day one.

2-Year Warranty

Every curtain we make carries a two-year warranty against seam failure, lining deterioration and fabric defect under normal domestic use. No forms, no fuss — we simply put it right.

We will never tell you a curtain achieves total darkness, halves your heating bill or soundproofs a room — because none does. What we promise is real, measurable, and delivered. Every time.

We do not compromise on fabric weight, weave density or finish — because a curtain that fades, sags or droops within three years is not a curtain. It is a disappointment.
